Notes
I made this recipe mainly to help those people overseas that can't get FW flavors. The original is still the very best, IMHO.

Nutty and creamy, but a little different than the original version, which uses all Flavor West flavoring. For another nice change, try replacing the Sweet Cream with Vanilla Swirl @2% !
And, If you can, try the original too! tjek.nu/r/LEA

REcipe is Max VG
Need to age this for at least 7 days.

Unfortunately don't have hazelnut and pecan tpa.. would you say it's any better than the original?
#2 by Leothwyn, Oct 17. 2016, 00:55
Thanks! I love the first one, and can't wait to try this one.

Could you please explain the difference a little more between this and the original? I loved the original but am running low on flavors and need to try and conserve a little before my next order, would love to try this if it interests me as the original was fantastic!

Alright cool, thanks for the quick reply. I'll keep this on hand as a back up in case I run out of the FW flavors :)

@Alisa: Thank you for this alternative to the Bust-a-Nut original. Today I have ordered all missing FW flavors from Flavor West and they ship to Europe :)
Can't wait to try the original one. Have a good time, JR

all i can say .....trust woman's taste ......thanks a lot @Alisa all your recipes are great
#8 by cooter, Dec 6. 2016, 23:16
I'm kinda in a pickle, 2 flavors short of a full deck. I have 3 out of the 5 FW flavors. The other 2 that's not are, "Bavarian Cream" (TFA) and "Sweet Cream" (CAP). Will I be able to sneak those in there and if so, what %'s?
#9 by Alisa, Dec 7. 2016, 14:23
@cooler - Same as in this recipe, 3% each.
#10 by cooter, Dec 9. 2016, 08:21
Right On thanks! Also, have you ever tried using erythritol instead of the FW Sweetener?
#11 by cooter, Dec 9. 2016, 08:26
I just realized I'm posting on your V2 recipe page when I made the last comment. But I'm sure you knew that..lol
#12 by Roky, Dec 21. 2016, 12:41
Would you tell me what % do i have to add with these flavors?
i have

Bavarian Cream (TPA)
Butter Pecan (FW)
DX Hazelnut (TPA)
DX Sweet Cream (TPA)
Marshmallow (TPA)
#13 by Alisa, Dec 21. 2016, 14:35
I'm not sure what that combination would turn out like, @Roky . If that's all I had in flavorings, I would probably start testing using each flavor at it's 'median' according to the database of flavors here on ELR. (Flavor List) And just adjust to my own taste from there. That's what I do a lot to create a new recipe. Please let us know how it turns out!

Have made this recipe twice with other nutty flavours instead of pecan which i can't get and i absolutely love it. Thanks for the recipe Alisa
#15 by Alisa, Dec 23. 2016, 22:12
Most welcome, @Clinton. Love to hear what combinations you love!
#16 by Ensae, Dec 29. 2016, 19:51
hm.. i don't feel any tastes... i change only mashmallow to TPA... but steep only 3 hours
#17 by drhonk, Jan 24. 2017, 07:26
Has anyone try this and compare it to the original recipe? I'm curious to know the difference.
#18 by Waheed, Feb 11. 2017, 15:05
@Alisa will you suggest me please the replace of Pecan (TPA) because I have no Pecan aT the moment please any one help
#19 by Alisa, Mar 19. 2017, 17:02
@Ensae - must let this one steep at least 7 days, IMHO.
@drhonk - there is no comparison really. The original is the best, IMHO. I made this recipe for those that cannot obtain FW flavorings mainly.
@Waheed - If you can get Flavor West flavorings, I highly recommend mixing the original recipe. Not sure about any other manufacturer's Pecan flavorings yet. I've tried Purilium Butter Pecan, but it's not working for me so far.
#20 by Waheed, Mar 19. 2017, 17:05
Thanks @Alisa for replying me
#21 by Double Drip, Apr 10. 2017, 00:29
no pecan available so I mixed
1.5 Hazlenut (TFA)
1.8 Bavarian cream (TFA)
0.6 marshmallow (TFA)
0.8 vanilla swirl (TFA)
1.8 fresh cream (FA)

threw fresh cream and vanilla swirl in, we will see how she turns out without pecan. subsituted fresh cream for sweet cream cus i hear they are close, idk. both add a milky cream note so yeh. Im giving it an 8hr heat treatment, not hot, just warm water heater. High VG mix in my case, VG nic & VG base. ill try and report back if i remember.

cheers.

Alisa - I notice a big difference in quantity of Hazelnut in this compared to v1. (2.5 rather than 7) - I was under the impression FW and TPA were roughly the same strength, if anything FW being slightly stronger.
I have FW butter pecan but only TFA hazelnut????
Rgds Rob

Hey Alisa. I have added to your original recipe TPA double chocolate and its was fantastic. Then i added as well graham crackers and it is like a nutty creamy chocolate crackers. You recipe gave me a lot to play with and it is my primary one when drinking my coffee:)
#24 by Ahmet, Sep 25. 2017, 01:11
For those finding the sweetness inadequate, raise the marshmallow to 2% and there you go! :)
#25 by Pops, Dec 5. 2017, 22:01
Alisa so glad you shares this recipe. As I often do I used the brands of flavor I had. They worked out great. My Bavarian Cream CAP and Pecan by LorAnn had to have a 10 day steep. It was well worth the wait. The 15ml test batch I made was gone in no time. So I have mixed up two 30ml bottles this time. One I am vaping on now the other is hidden so the Juice moochers won't try and make off with it. I thank you so much for sharing this wonderful recipe with me/us.
#26 by ahmedmagdii6, Feb 20. 2018, 13:21
can this butter cream be replaced with any other flavor cause i don't have it :( ?!!
#27 by Alisa, Feb 21. 2018, 23:02
Sorry folks... been away from this recipe for a bit.
@ahmedmagdii6 - I'm not aware of a substitute for butter cream, but it really just adds a richness and a 'mouth feel' to this recipe really. If I didn't have it, I might try using another cream like Flavorah's Cream or Hangsen's Italian Cream . Might even just leave it out to see how it works out. Let us know how it goes!

can u tell me if u plz what the meaning of IMHO
#29 by Alisa, Apr 8. 2018, 14:20

How awesome of you to do!!....;))
#31 by gorem, Jun 25. 2018, 18:48
Hi Alisa I do not have the marshmellow how can I replace?
#32 by Alisa, Jun 26. 2018, 00:01
@gorem I actually like TFA or FW Marshmallow better in this recipe now.
#33 by Double Drip, Jun 26. 2018, 06:27
@gorem if you don't have marshmallow there's not much similar that can fill its place so I guess just add a little cream on its place, but not necessarily the same volume that marshmallow requires. Marshmallow honestly doesnt add alot nor define the recipe. I suppose cotton candy (ethyl maltol) could maybe compare except it can really mute some flavors so use super sparingly if even at all.
#34 by gorem, Jun 26. 2018, 08:20
Brani you very much

Now being enjoyed by myself and soon a handful of friends. 1L made so far. No subs, but for newer batches will probably follow advice on Marshmallow. Thank you for creating and sharing the recipe! Still good in 2018!

Thx for this v2. What about capella butter pecan (silverline) instead of pecan and butter cream
