Notes

This was made for a client who wanted, you guessed it, a Golden Graham. Mucking around with most graham crackers just didn't work out, which was unexpected. More than a few recipes used them, but were clearly trying to push and pull them soo much, that it became apparent that there was much work being done to shift and change the WRONG flavors. So how DOES one come up with a Golden Graham, without using any Graham ?? I can't reveal ALL of my secrets, but none the less, if you doubt it, you wont after you try this. No Graham, no Brown Sugar, Molasses ?? Not even a touch of honey ?? What IS this alchemy ?? You don't have to use an entire stack of flavors to create great mixes. Onto the players ... The CAP Cereal 27 and FW Waffle Cone are the stars of the show here, and although on paper it may look odd, the proof is in the mixing. The Cream Fresh added in the dairy element, which was simply tweaked by the Meringue, which also added to the sugary sweetness of this one, and enhanced the milky-ness. You will notice the overall percentages are fairly low, which makes it even more of a mystery. I typically do not share most of my recipes for an entire host of reasons, but after my client tried and loved this, I started making even more of it, and the word spread, and even more orders came in, so I figured I'd at least share it with the masses.

2 week steeping is MANDITORY.

I'll let you know what's going to happen, so you're not surprised. You'll probably have the flavors, maybe reluctantly mix it up, maybe smell it fresh mixed, still probably NOT be a believer. After about a week, you'll check sniff it, and you'll start to see that it is starting to look like this might just be better than you thought, and be tempted to taste test. You MUST hold out for the 2nd week. Once you smell it after that, you WILL be a believer. I'm chain vaping this in between my massive SF Tests, 3mg, 70/30 and it's a VERY accurate, deliciously sweet Golden Graham, WITHOUT any graham. Feel free to alter if you must, but sub you CANNOT. It's only 4 ingredients, 3 of which almost everyone has, with MAYBE 1 to buy. Go ahead, mix it up, you'll thank me later.

If you want a delicious Golden Graham, that is super full and rich, that's nicely sweet, with a touch of milk/cream, you WILL want to make more of this one. It's rare that I share, so you may want to scoop this one up.
Feel free to share, but please give link back credit, and out to ELR as well.

Enjoy my ELR brothers and sisters.

I know, I know, wait two weeks....Iā€™m vaping this on day 10 and I canā€™t imagine it getting any better lol, Iā€™ll wait till day 14 to post on the forum side but Iā€™m already looking forward to emptying the 40 ml I made in a 120ml bottle so I can fill the bottle next time:) this is spot on for Golden Grahams, so good I went out and bought a box of the cereal lol
#2 by SessionDrummer, Feb 23. 2020, 02:40
Thank you very much Fishaddict420 for taking the time to mix it up, and report back. :)

2 week steep mandatory huh, well I've been vaping on the same recipes for a while now and I just got my flavors in to mix this it's only been a few days but I had to crack into it because it was already smelling delicious. Already know that I'm going to be adding this to my rotation, 2 thumbs up!
#4 by SessionDrummer, Jun 7. 2020, 11:43
Thanks a lot @nickgonzo. Make sure to report back on the graham-licious-ness (if you're so inclined).

:)

Ok @SessionDrummer, let me first say that I have Never liked any cereal vapes ever, PERIOD. That said I still had to pick up the Cereal 27 just for this recipe, 8 days in steep and just knuckle tested this and I can already say this is genius! Still gonna go the ā€œ14 day Mandatoryā€ waiting period on this though šŸ‘Œ
#6 by Rocky Toony, Jul 17. 2020, 01:54
Oh Yeah, just got back to this. Pretty damn good SD, mixed up 30ml and chain vaped it! Never thought I would like a cereal vape, you hit it out of the ballpark with this onešŸŽ‰
#7 by SessionDrummer, Jul 17. 2020, 11:46
Thanks a lot Rocky, very appreciated.
#8 by muth, Aug 18. 2020, 05:16
Session Drummer, are you still making this mix or have you changed it since it's inception?
#9 by nickgonzo, Aug 18. 2020, 06:01
Added this to my rotation, made a 240ml the last time, I'm officially hooked, based on the percentages I thought I could get away with a 10ml bottle of the waffle cone, it never ends! Lmao
#10 by SessionDrummer, Aug 18. 2020, 10:51
Hehe, I had to upsize my bottles too @nickgonzo.

@muth, I haven't changed anything with this, and it has stood the test of time
#11 by MassVape, Sep 1. 2020, 17:53
I really like this recipe cannot find the waffle cone anywhere here only from Flavour West in the States and too expensive the shipping costs. Is there any substitute for the waffle cone? Thanks in advance.
#12 by SessionDrummer, Sep 1. 2020, 19:55
MassVape, sorry, but the Waffle Cone and Cereal 27 are the critical elements. You in the UK ?
#13 by DaveN2KL, Jan 20. 2021, 17:27
Totally Genius!!!! ...and yet no graham..fabulous, absolutely love this, thanks for all you do....
#14 by SessionDrummer, Mar 29. 2021, 00:53
Thanks very much @MixMeister, always means a lot.
#15 by TOC MichelleHughes, Jul 17. 2021, 19:24
You sir are a GENIUS! Great Mix ... thank you!!!!
#16 by Lynda Marie , Jul 17. 2021, 20:23
I hate waiting 2 weeks lol Iā€™m going to mix some up tomorrow. I think Iā€™ll go right to 60 mls. Thanks for the recipe! Iā€™m assuming I can add sweetener to it though, I hope.
#17 by TOC MichelleHughes, Jul 18. 2021, 15:42
I blame you for having to order my Caps Cereal 27 LOL great recipe Session!
#18 by SessionDrummer, Jul 23. 2021, 16:22
@Lynda Marie, I hate waiting too !!! It's fairly sweet out of the gate, but you can add more if you need to. The steep on this one isn't set in stone, but the C27 needs time to mellow, and meld with the Waffle Cone.
#19 by SessionDrummer, Jul 23. 2021, 16:22
Hehe, sorry, and thanks Michelle.
#20 by qoray009, Jul 27. 2021, 13:12
@SessionDrummer Can you recommend another flavor instead of the waffle cone flavor?
#21 by SessionDrummer, Jul 31. 2021, 11:39
@qoray009, sadly, I can't think of a good sub for the FW Waffle Cone. There's something unique about how it pairs with the CAP Cereal 27 that let's the magic happen.
#22 by 316VAPES, Aug 27. 2021, 18:34
Has anyone added a little cinnamon and sugar cap to this to see if it works. Just bought what i needed and gonna add a few drops to see what it does
#23 by SessionDrummer, Aug 30. 2021, 11:27
@Psycho_316 you can but it pulls it off profile for a golden Grahams, towards a cinnamon toast cruch.
#24 by 316VAPES, Sep 1. 2021, 13:13
@Sessiondrummer for me its golden grahams for the partner its cinnamon toast crunch. Just waiting on the cereal 27 as my first order the place didn't have it. Im dying to try this recipe out. My mouth is already šŸ¤¤šŸ¤¤šŸ¤¤šŸ˜‚
#25 by 316VAPES, Sep 3. 2021, 18:25
Mixed it up today. Now the wait begins. 1batch of this and another with cinnamon sugar cap. And i mean minimal C&S cap. The smell off this is unreal. Will post again in two weeks and no lessšŸ˜‚
#26 by SessionDrummer, Sep 4. 2021, 18:42
Thank you @Psycho_316.
#27 by 316VAPES, Sep 17. 2021, 15:04
Ok @SessionDrummer here we go.

I waited two weeks to vape it and i am not gonna lie i did vape it 3 days ago to see if it vaped liked it smelled. It did not. Now i mixed two batches at 60ml each. One had Cap Cinnamon sugar and one as you did it. So i will start with OG mix. I vaped these on a single 24g kanthal at .25 ohms as i ran out of my own built claptons.

The OG mix well off the sniff it reminds me so much of Mr T cereal (For all the old people here they know who i mean. But for you young ones it was a cereal named after the baddest man alive in the 80ā€™s Mr T)
As i vaped it it does remind me of Golden grahams. But it is lacking something. It is so close which amazes me with concentrates that shouldnā€™t replicate it. Saying this im gonna let it steep another week and see if it gets the creaminess of the other batch i made. They where both made same day in the same closet under the stairs and shaken at all the same times. At this moment i donā€™t feel it. ill see if it changes in a week.

Now the cinnamon version
I just don't understand how a small amount of a outside concentrate can change it all. This one i did actual had more creaminess too it and the small amount of cinnamon and sugar bite on the inhale. As for it being cinnamon toast crunch or in the uk curiously cinnamons it does need help. Very minor help as the first one does. I haven't mastered my mixing up after two years but in my feeling about both i might add a little sugar cookie in small amounts to it to see where it takes them.

As for this recipes Session it is pretty amazing what can happen mixing stuff up that shouldn't work as this does. You have created a great cereal base for people to work there own magic on. Its so close its ridiculous. My hats off to you and thank you for the perfect base to start working on cinnamon toast crunch. By having this will save me months. I really do appreciate all that you do for the community.
#28 by SessionDrummer, Sep 17. 2021, 15:57
@ Psycho_316 thanks very much. I always felt the "missing" tweak was Malt. The customer (and others) were soo smitten with it, I stopped all development (and moved onto the next thing). I might re-visit this and start push/pulling it into a full on Cinnamon Toast Crunch if time allows. Thanks for the detailed notes, cinnamon testing, and comments, as they are ALWAYS appreciated.
#29 by 316VAPES, Sep 17. 2021, 17:30
You are welcome @SessionDrummer. I found it odd how the minimal amount of the cinnamon sugar added brought the cream out to where it was so balanced. Plus i have been playing with so many creams but after this recipe you have put me onto it and i really like it. So thank you for that. Using that with the real flavors sweet cream has been good in my cereal recipes i have been doing. Again thanks bud
#30 by 316VAPES, Sep 23. 2021, 20:44
@SessionDrummer i added a few things to the mix and let it set for 6 days and man oh man. And i think now what im gonna do is mix up yours and hold out my ingredients and let that set up for 2 weeks then add the missing ones this way it lets your base work its magic. On the elr forum can i send you a private message? This way i can send you the recipe privately.
#31 by SessionDrummer, Sep 23. 2021, 23:06
@Psycho_316, it's up to you, if you have an improvement, or adaptation of this recipe, feel free to post it, share it, or share privately, whatever you think is best.

:)
#32 by CamV6, Feb 11. 2022, 03:24
Ok Iā€™m going to have a bash at this. Missing ingredient is malt you say eh ? So what would you recommend ? 0.75% TFA malted milk?
#33 by SessionDrummer, Feb 11. 2022, 11:12
@CamV6 if I DID add a malt it would be NF Malt.

#34 by CamV6, Feb 11. 2022, 17:08
Hmm ok thank you. Iā€™m hopefully getting some VSO malt soon. I wonder if that might do it? I also have OOO malted milk but not tried it yet so no idea how it would play
#35 by Ken O'Where, Apr 4. 2022, 08:49
As i wrote elsewhere:

This is an exceptional mix, the combination of waffle cone and cereal 27 was truly brilliant. Id rank this right up there with Shroomys Frosted Flakes. FanFuckingTastic, thanks for sharing, SD.
#36 by Ken O'Where, Apr 4. 2022, 08:54
Ill rate it once the system lets me.
#37 by Ken O'Where, Apr 4. 2022, 20:27
One more try to rate it.
#38 by SessionDrummer, Apr 8. 2022, 11:34
I appreciate it Ken, thank you.
#39 by Lynda Marie , Apr 8. 2022, 19:46
Hmmm, seems I forgot to report back on this. I love it! This is right up my alley for flavors. I guess Iā€™ll have to order larger than 10 mls of Waffle cone šŸ˜ Now sugar need a fruity cereal thatā€™s just as delicious! Thanks SD, you truly are amazing for all you do!
#40 by SessionDrummer, Apr 11. 2022, 13:18
:)
Thank you @Lynda Marie.
#41 by James Holden , Apr 26. 2022, 14:14
I mixed this up on the 8/3/22 so itā€™s had a decent steep, I opened it today and I really like it. That FW Waffle Cone is something else and I like it that much that Iā€™ve bought a couple of 100ml bottles. This recipe is great on its own but I can imagine that it would also make a great base for adding other things like blueberries etc or even something nutty. Well done mate and thank you, you get the full five stars from me.

#42 by SessionDrummer, Aug 20. 2022, 23:21
Thanks a lot @James Holden. I always stress the steep time of at LEAST 2 weeks, to take the slight harshness off of the CAP Cereal 27.
#43 by MasterShake, Sep 15. 2022, 16:09
Holy S#it this is a masterpiece. Smells amazing within 12 hrs.

Thank you very much @MasterShake, I'm glad you liked it.

#45 by KC, Oct 13. 2022, 01:39
Hey D-man, I just stumbled across this and I'm intrigued by your suggestion of adding NF Malt to the recipe. What % would you add?
#46 by SessionDrummer, Oct 13. 2022, 09:18
@KC, despite HAVING Nature's Flavors Malt, I've never mixed with it much, and have never solo'd it. I wouldn't want to offset the mix ratio in this recipe, as it WAS easy to blow it up when I was trying to get it right. Small changes (and there were MANY) ended up trainwrecking it.

I would have to say very low, as literally a minor accent, maybe 0,25-0.50%, but only as a light accent.
#47 by Lynda Marie , Oct 13. 2022, 16:17
@sessiondrummer we just went over NF malt on Noted DX on the malt episode, if you wanted notes on it. I only have chocolate malt NF but Sam has plain malt NF.
#48 by Matek's Mayhem, Sep 26. 2023, 17:38
Finally got around to mixing this and waiting for steeping to finish. It's going to be a rough two weeks, lol. I can sense a lot of promise.
#49 by Matek's Mayhem, Oct 8. 2023, 18:46
So I didn't wait two weeks, I made it to twelve days. This is so good. On the inhale I get a slight kiss of sweetness and cream and on the exhale an oh my, why did I wait kind of goodness. I am vaping at the lower end of my coil suggested wattage. The higher end looses the cream. This is the definition of awesomeness. Thanks for sharing.
#50 by SessionDrummer, Jan 30, 00:12
Thanks @Lynda Marie.

@Matek's Mayhem, thank you very much, and I'm glad you liked it.
